Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membuat sebuah game edukasi yang membahas tentang sistem tata surya yang dapat digunakan kapan saja, juga tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan, namun dapat memberikan hiburan bagi para penggunanya. Pengembangan game ini menggunakan metodologi Digital Game Based Learning-Instructional Design (DGBL-ID) yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan, yaitu analysis, design, development, quality assurance, implementation and evaluation, namun pada penelitian ini game dikembangkan hanya sampai tahapan development. Game dibuat berdasarkan kepada tujuan instruksional umum, dan tujuan instruksional khusus, dengan metode penerapan deskripsi, demonstrasi, dan permainan. Game ini dibuat dengan bantuan teknologi tiga dimensi Unity 3D. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah purwarupa game edukasi yang bertujuan memberikan gambaran mengenai sistem tata surya.
