As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • 1. Article
    Please prepare your article in Indonesian. Be consistent in spelling and usage throughout the article and avoid mixing the two. Before submitting an article, it is highly recommended to double-check the article. This will shorten your article submission processing time. JIDAR accepts online article submissions via Open Journal Systems (OJS).
  • 2. Article Format
    Authors should submit articles that have been polished with care. Before submitting please ensure that your paper is prepared using the JIDAR Template (Download Template Here). This will shorten the publication process. Acceptance or rejection notification will be sent to the author after a decision from the editorial board. Submissions must be accompanied by a front page showing the name and address of the author for correspondence (including email), and acknowledgments (if there are outside contributions). The title should be placed on the first page of the article to facilitate the peer-review process. Therefore, all information that reveals the identity of the author will be considered before the article is sent to the review board. Articles must be sent in Microsoft Word via email as attachments to the email address above.
  • 3. Article Types
    Four types of articles that can be submitted:
    - Original research
    - Surveys / article reviews, providing comprehensive reviews on scientific topics.
    - Short writing: Short and detailed articles about ongoing research.
    - Technical Notes (Scientific Studies, Surveys, etc.)
  • 4. Copyright
    Submission of an article implies: that the work described has not been previously published (except in abstract form or as part of a published lecture, or thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere . The copyright for articles and figures published in this journal is protected by law. When an article is accepted for publication, the author agrees to automatically transfer the copyright to the publisher.
  • 5. Review Process
    All articles will be reviewed by the editorial team and editorial board or qualified external reviewers. Decisions regarding acceptance and rejection of articles will be conveyed to the author as soon as possible.
  • 6. Proof and Reprint
    E-proof will be sent (as an email attachment) to the author in the form of a PDF file. Proof of the online page as the final version of the article. With the exception of minor typographical or clerical errors, no changes will be made to the article at the proofing stage, because JIDAR publishes articles online to appeal to a wide variety of audiences, authors will have free electronic access to the full text (in HTML and PDF) of the article. Authors can freely download PDF files from which they can print unlimited copies of their articles.

Please use the following guidelines to prepare your manuscript before submitting it.

Title (Times New Roman 14pt)

The title must be clear and concise, a maximum of 12 words. Only the initial title should be capitalized and in bold. Author's name and affiliation as written above. The author's name is written clearly without a title.

Abstract (Times New Roman 10pt)
Abstract is written with a single paragraph. The abstract includes the introduction, methods and results achieved, without reference to the bibliography. The abstract must describe the research carried out explicitly in a clear and concise sentence. Abstracts and articles are written in standard Indonesian. The recommended abstract length is between 100 and 300 words. Abstract writing using Times New Roman font size 10 with single paragraph spacing.

Keywords (Times New Roman 10pt)
Write down a maximum of 5 keywords or phrases in alphabetical order separated by commas. Use Times New Roman font size 10 with single-spaced paragraphs. keywords in lower case

Manuscript Structure
Articles must contain writing that contains, 1) Introduction, 2) Research Methods (can include analysis, architecture, methods used to solve problems, implementation), 3) Results and Discussion, 4) Conclusions, 5) Acknowledgments (if any) ) and Bibliography . Subtitles use Times New Roman 12 bold letters.
The contents of the introduction are the answers to the questions: a. background, b. Brief literature review, c. The reason for this research, d. Questions about goals.

Research methodology
Describe the preparation method and characterization techniques used. Describe concisely and accurately such as size, volume, replication, and machining techniques. For a new method it must be explained in detail for other researchers to reproduce the experiment. While the established method can be explained by reviewing the literature.

Conclusion
Give a statement that what is expected, as stated in the "Introduction" chapter can ultimately produce the "Results and Discussion" chapter, so that there is compatibility. In addition, prospects for developing research results and prospects for further study applications can also be added to the next (based on results and discussion).

Script Length
Manuscripts are written on A4 paper size with a minimum number of pages of 6 pages, a maximum of 10 pages, including tables and figures, and refers to the writing procedures as compiled in this article.

Table
Tables must be numbered in the order in which they are presented (Table 1, Table 2, Table n..). Table titles are written in a center-aligned position above the table. The font used in table titles and table contents is 9pt. If there are many table contents, you can use 8pt font size. Tables must be cited and mentioned in the text.

Picture
Figures are numbered in the order in which they are presented (Figure 1:, Figure 2: , Figure n:). Captions for images are placed in the center of the page, below the image (center aligned). The font size is 9pt. Images must be cited and mentioned in the text.

Page Specifications
Use Times New Roman type throughout the text, with font sizes as exemplified in this writing guide. Single space spacing, and contents of writing or manuscripts using left-right alignment (justified). Page size is A4 (210 mm x 297 mm). An easy way to write scripts is to write directly in the Journal template.

References
If notes and explanatory references are relevant, they must be indicated in the text by mentioning the author's last name, year and page according to APA format. A complete list of all notes and references should be provided at the end of the manuscript. Journal references written using APA format. Please use reference software such as Mendeley, Zotero, Reference and so on to make citation work easier.

Journal references must include all authors' names and initials, year of publication, paper title, full journal title, volume number and first and last page numbers. Book references must include their edition, and it is the responsibility of all editors and all relevant authors, publishers, and places of publication to check the accuracy of the references.

The number of references in the form of journals or proceedings referred to is at least 5 with the last 5 years of publication. While references in the form of books or book sections are the latest publications (last editions). Reference sources from the web or documents on the web are not recommended, but if there are no other sources, then it is still allowed with an amount of not more than 10% of the number of references referred to, and must write down the date, month and year of access.
